Anita is a German pattern maker who is getting some of her patterns translated to English, and her next pattern to be translated - the Santa Stocking!!!
GIVEAWAY at the end of the post
Find the Etsy shop to buy the pattern HERE, her own website for tutorials and patterns HERE, and the designers IG here
The pattern has a big Santa sack and a Santa helper smaller version. did the helper size - it is still about 17 inches long and I think that is PLENTY of space for treats!
I used a minky for the hat brim and beards, the red is a fleece and then of course some Sis Boom fabric for the other Santa. eyes and nose are both fleece too with felt stars. The fabric amount used is really not too much for the Santa helper size so these are a great gifting and craft sale item idea!
I found the directions easy to follow. I'd rate this pattern as a beginner pattern and for time from cutting to having sewn both of these was about 2hrs.
The pattern also includes pom pom templates in various sizes so you can make your own pom poms to put on the string - SUPER cute!!! But no yarn locally so I didn't get to try that option.
I am looking forward to making more of these!
AND THERE IS A GIVEAWAY!!!! Anita has been kind enough to donate a Santa Stocking pattern to a blog reader!!!
